SALA Lad-Saf® Sleeve for 8mm and 10mm Cable Systems 6116507. With DBI-SALA's Lad-Saf® Flexible Cable Ladder Safety Systems you are always assured of complete safety and security when climbing fixed ladders on poles, towers, tanks, etc. Every system is engineered to your specific requirements while meeting or exceeding global standards - including OSHA, ANSI, CSA and CE - so the device can be used anywhere in the world. The design allows the shuttle to remain attached to the user to eliminate the potential for dropping and creating Lost Time Incidents or causing potential injury.

Features:

  • Certified to fit 8mm (5/16”) and 9.25mm (3/8”) Lad-Saf® cable systems, perfect for for added job site flexibility.
  • Choice of Cable Options for flexibility of installations, allows the best cable option to be used per application.
  • Passes fall back test using anthropomorphic dummy in numerous fall positions, giving peace of mind and confidence when using.
  • Choice of stainless steel or galvanised steel options for both cable and bracket options allowing for use both on and off-shore.
The new top bracket assembly accomodates a range of 8mm (5/16") cables. New internal components are used within the head assembly to ensure optimal performance and safety. The shock absorbing top bracket and tension indicating bottom bracket serve as the anchors for the steel cable which runs the length of the climbing area. Non-metallic cable guides reduce cable wear, permitting you to ascend or descend unhindered. The economical, easy to use systems are available for straight or curved ladders and for connection to wood, concrete or steel structures.

Locked on for hands-free movement! 
The swiveling Lad-Saf® sleeve allows up to 4 users to use the system at once. Workers wearing harnesses are attached by carabiner. The Lad-Saf system prevents falls by locking onto the cable. The sleeve is easily attached or removed anywhere along the cable and automatically follows as you climb or descend.

We're the only ones to do it! 
For maximum structural integrity, our shock absorbing design uses an elasomeric impact attenuator to substantially reduce the forces imposed on the ladder structure.

A few good tools!
Easily install the Lad-Saf® system with standard wrenches. The unique built-in tension tells you precisely when the system is at the proper tension.

Built-to-last from corrosion resistant materials, the system is galvanized for a maintenance free life. For harsh environments, use the complete stainless steel system.

Cable protection! 
Non-metallic cable guides reduce cable wear, permitting you to ascend or descend unhindered. They also protect both the Lad-Saf® system and the climbing structure.

Designed for ease of use, economy and versatility, you can bolt or weld the system, choose rung clamp sizes/styles, choose systems for straight or curved ladders and for connection to wood, concrete or steel structures.
