Description
Sala 'SMALL' Series Load Arrestor KD4PLA3012. 300kg, 12M length, auminium housing with 5mm galvanised cable.
- The Sala range of Load Arrestors are safety devices used augment other lifting devices, such as cranes and hoists providing additional protection to stop and arrest the fall of a load if the primary system fails and will protect personnel around the area.
- Sala range has 3 body sizes, small, medium, and large.
- Supporting loads from 100kg up to 3000kg, with different cable lengths.
- The load arrestor is installed next to the main lifting device.
- The cable is then secured to the load.
- In the event of a failure of the main lifting device, the arrestor senses a fast descent speed in excess of 0.5m/sec
- Will automatically engage the inertia-activated brake that acts on the rope drum.
- This stops the load within 1m and absorbs the shock forces.
- Variety of wire cable lengths : KD4PLA3012 - 5m, KD4PLA4008 - 8m, KD4PLA5005 - 5m
